Fond Memories Card

Hi lovelies and welcome back to my blog.

Today I have a new make to share with you all which is my first Design Team inspiration project for A Perfect Time To Craft. This months challenge as always is Anything Goes and our sponsor for the month is Sheepski Designs

Why not go on over and support our sponsor by looking at the shop here

For my piece I have used the beautiful Fair Lady image

I wanted to do something a little different and something I haven't done for a while so I got my inks out and made my own scenery background. I think she looks wonderful against the snowy hills and mountains looking up at the Aurora Borealis.

The products I have used to do this piece are as follows:
Fair Lady Digi Stamp
Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Markers
Versafin White Ink Pad
Stamping Sponges
Moon/Sun/Hills/Mountain Stencil
Island Indigo Ink Pad
Rich Razzelberry Ink Pad
Basic Black Card stock
Whisper White Cardstock - Cut down to make a 5x7 card
Corner Punch
Tombow Glue
3d Foam Tape

I hope you like what I have done and it inspires you to try something new and don't forget to pop on over to the challenge blog here and take a look at the other DT members inspiration and why not join in and enter the challenge.

Brotherly Love

Hi all

Today I have another scrapbook layout to share with you all, this one is the one I briefly mentioned in my last scrapbook layout post.

Another difficult layout to do but needed to be done as the pictures used are filled with cherished memories.

So here is my Brotherly Love Layout

I have kept this layout simple as I felt it did not need much doing to it as the pictures speak for them selves. The top left hand picture is of my Hubby To Be and his little brother Sandor who is the youngest, and the bottom right picture is of hubby to be's little brother Sandor and his younger brother David who we suddenly lost on 16th August 2016.

So as you can imagine this was such a hard and upsetting layout to do but It felt the right time to do it. Now for some close up pictures of the layout.

I thought these Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers fitted really well with this layout.

I have used some retired Stampin' Up! products on this layout, the retired products I have used are Urban Underground Designer Series Papers and Urban Embellishments.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing this layout and it inspires you to scrap those happy memories of lost loved ones. Always remember do not feel bad for not doing these sort of layouts as of yet, you will do them when you feel ready.

Ice Steam Steampunkers Dream

Hi all

Today I am sharing with you all my latest piece which has been done for the August Bloobel Progressive Challenge.

Lisa is an amazing artist and I love ALL of her digi stamps so to get to work with them each month for the progressive challenge is so enjoyable.

This month Lisa designed some Ice Cream Digis' all different and all awesome, when It came to choosing which one I wanted to use for this challenge it was so tough but in the end Ice Cream Steam won for me, So here we have my creation

I absolutely LOVE Steampunk so of cause when I spotted this image I just had to get it and use it for the challenge.

To do this card I used the following products:
Ice Cream Steam Digi Stamp
Spectrum Noir Markers
Tim Holtz Gears Die
Factor 42 - Ironworks by Kaisercraft
Distress Ink - Vintage Photo
Kraft Card Stock
5x7 Card
Scissors
Tobow Glue
Foam Pads
Sequins

I fussy cut the Ironworks 12 x 12 paper down so I could place the pieces into different sections onto the card and layered some up on foam pads and glued others down to give it a 3D look. I also used my scissors to distress the edges on the paper. The sentiment was typed out, printed cut out and then I used Vintage Photo Distress ink.

I hope this inspires you to get involved in the progressive challenge for September, you can find all the challenge information on the Bloobel Facebook Group HERE.

I Am T-REX 12x12 Layout

Hello lovelies.

Today I have another Scrapbook Layout to share with you all, I am so behind on sharing these with you all :(.

This layout was done at a monthly crop I attend and I found doing this layout so hard but I felt ready to do it while there as It made things easier being surrounded by friends and other crafters.

So I will shut up blabbing and show you all.

This layout is of my hubby-to-be and his late brother David being their usual selves after the wedding of their Dad and Step-Mum... Yes for some strange reason on this evening they had decided to be a T-Rex HA HA. I will admit it was so funny when they were doing it.

A close up pictures of part of the layout

The reason this was such a hard layout to do is sadly we suddenly lost David on 16/08/16 but I knew I had to do this layout as it is such a cherished memory for us both and I knew hubby to be would appreciate it I do have another layout which includes David to share with you all but that will be another day.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing this layout and it made you smile even though in other ways it is upsetting. But I will say David was always the prankster and joker of the family and random funny things like on this layout were a daily thing.

The Promise 6x6 Mini Album

Hi all

Today I have something very different and new to share with you all, well it is not a new creation to make but is something new for me to make, A beautiful 6x6 mini album which I have made by hand.

I have really been looking forward to sharing this with you all and have been working on this beauty bit by bit in-between my other projects and Design Team projects.

So here it is The Promise 6x6 Mini Album

The cover of this beautiful mini album has embossed designer series paper on the front and back and a beautiful pearl flower trim down the edges.

Now for the inside of the mini album

As you can see there is plenty of space on the pages to add photographs, journal-ling and much more each page has an insert which also has room for photographs and journal-ling.

This mini album has been made from scratch including the album cover, this has been made with a lot of love and care and I am so proud of this piece as It is my first ever mini album and most certainly will not be my last

This would make a perfect gift for a wedding due to the beautiful papers which have been used all the way through the album.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at this mini album as much as I have enjoyed bringing it to life and I hope it gives you lots of inspiration.

Pistyll Waterfall 12x12 Layouts

Hi all

Today I have a couple of scrapbook layouts to share with you all from our visit to a beautiful waterfall in Wales.

Here is the first layout of us at the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall

We had a wonderful day out in Wales and this waterfall was beautiful to see, just a shame that while we were there it was raining

Now for some close up shots of the layout.

On this layout I used some of the Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers which I think fitted these pictures perfectly. Behind the last photo I slotted in the parking ticket we saved as I knew I wanted to include it on this layout.

Now for the second Layout of the Waterfall

Of cause we both took plenty of pictures it was just too beautiful not too. We only got to look at the waterfall from the very bottom and look up to the top as to get to the top would have taken 20 minutes walking, which due to having fibromyalgia was a no go for me :( boooo.

Now for some close ups

Again I used some of the Tim Holtz Small Talk Stickers which I thought fitted perfectly with the layout and pictures. I also used my corner rounder on the pictures.

Products used for both layouts:
12x12 Papers
Tim Holtz Small Talk Stickers
Flower Stickers
Thickers
Corner Punch
Foam Tape
Tombow Glue
Paper Trimmer
Canon Selphy Printer

We also visited The Great Orme in Llandudno on the same day which I have also done a layout on and I shall be sharing that with you on another blog post. I look forward to sharing that layout with you all.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my two layouts and they inspire you.
